Catering for the entire family, the UNIQ range consists of premium basics in a variety of colours and textures that are easy to mix and match. Every item of clothing is thoughtfully designed and made to last, pairing quality-tested fabrics with stylish and versatile designs.
The first UNIQ clothing store opened at Canal Walk Mall in Cape Town, in March 2023, with a collection of womenswear, menswear, and kids' fashion, including cotton T-shirts, dresses, knits, pants, underwear, pullovers and puffer jackets filled with sustainably-sourced down.
Another first in South African retail
In keeping with the Group’s commitment to convenience through innovation, UNIQ clothing by Checkers is the first retail outlet in South Africa to offer self-service checkout. Smart tags and advanced radio-frequency identification (RFID) enable customers to easily scan and pay for items, while well-trained sales assistants will be available to assist customers further.
