Checkers’ Forage and Feast fig & almond fruit cake (700 g) and its Forage and Feast festive gammon (1.1 kg) were recently identified as best buys by Fairlady Magazine in its annual Christmas taste test. 

To assist consumers in putting together the best value for money festive spread, Fairlady magazine conducts this taste test through their Testhouse kitchen, including categories such as gammons, pork, mince pies, and Christmas puddings. 

A panel taste and rate a selection of Christmas items in the same way that regular consumers would and the Forage and Feast fig & almond fruit cake and the Forage and Feast festive gammon received five star ratings and won in their respective categories (cooked gammon and jewelled cakes).
