Sunday Times Food Awards

Checkers’ newly launched Oh My Goodness! range of kiddies’ convenience meals was voted best in South Africa in the latest Sunday Times Tried & Tested Food Awards.

An independent panel consisting of 15 children and 15 parents put the readymade children’s meals from two different supermarkets to the test, and Oh My Goodness passed with flying colours.

There are currently five meals in the Oh My Goodness! range, each retailing for R29.99. All the meals are free from MSG, added sugar and salt, and contain no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The meals are made using locally sourced vegetables and certified free range beef and chicken.
