Shoprite Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Pieter Engelbrecht, has been recognised as ‘Sakeleier van die Jaar’ (Business Leader of the Year) by Kaapstad Sakekamer and Die Burger.
At the helm of Africa’s largest food retailer since January 2017, Engelbrecht has fiercely championed affordability and disrupted the retail landscape with innovations that changed the blueprint for FMCG in South Africa.
