Fourways residents have a new shopping destination following the opening of a Checkers Fresh X supermarket in the Design Quarter (Sandton, Gauteng).
In line with the shopping mall's high-end offering, this state-of-the-art supermarket offers top quality food, exclusive brands and specialist in-store services including:
- Exclusive private label brands such as Forage and Feast and Simple Truth;
- A Meat Market with free range chicken and restaurant-quality steak;
- A Kauai;
- A Wine section;
- Fresh Flowers;
- A Krispy Kreme;
- A bakery with artisan breads;
- A Money Market counter;
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
Fourways residents have a new shopping destination following the opening of a Checkers Fresh X supermarket in the Design Quarter.
The store created 93 new jobs and will be managed by Michael Ross Badenhorst who joined the retailer in 2020 as a Trainee Manager.
Design Quarter is now also home to a standalone Petshop Science that opened adjacent to the Checkers supermarket. The specialist store features everything pet owners could want or need, including food, treats and toys from premium brands like Hills, Royal Canine, Ultra Dog, Rogz and Nandoe.
Checkers Design Quarter trades from 08:00 to 20:00, and Petshop Science from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Sunday.
