17 May is World Baking Day and you, members of the public, are invited to bake a cake or any sweet treat for someone to remind them that you care.

Shoprite and Checkers Supermarket Group has challenged the public to pay it forward by baking a cake to make someone’s day, and not only with friends and family this World Baking Day.

Shoprite Belhar surprised Symphony Way Community Day Centre with a cake as an act of kindness and to remind them that it cares, especially because nurses work so hard making sure that patients are well looked after.
