Checkers opened its fourth supermarket in Kempton Park, Gauteng at the new Harvest Place Shopping Centre, creating 75 new jobs.  

Located at the corner of Monument Road and Blaauwklippen Avenue in Glen Marais, Harvest Place Mall has plenty of parking and offers customers an elevated shopping experience.  

Checkers Harvest Square features several fresh food departments with a wide selection including a Meat Market, Hot & Cold Foods Deli, Bakery, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables and a Money Market counter providing several services.

 

 

The store is managed by Vusi Mahlalelea who joined the retailer in 2011 as a scanning clerk and has a total of 123 employees.  

Checkers Harvest Place’s trading hours are: 

  • Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 –20:00 
  • Saturdays: 08:00 – 20:00 
  • Sundays: 08:00 –20:00
