Shoprite created 29 new jobs with the opening of its supermarket in eMvelo, Mpumalanga.

This new store offers customers a convenient shopping experience and access to several in-store fresh food departments including a Meat Market, Hot & Cold Foods Deli, Bakery, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, as well as 7 pay points.

Customers can also save time by making use of the in-store Money Market counter. Services include money transfers, buying lotto tickets, paying municipal bills, topping up data, airtime or electricity, purchasing gift cards or savings stamps, buying bus, airline or event tickets, taking out insurance, and even getting a credit report.

The store is managed by Hlanyisa Nwandule, who joined the Shoprite Group in 2017 as a Trainee Manager.

Shoprite Amsterdam trading hours are:

• Mondays to Fridays: 08:00 – 19:00
• Saturdays: 08:00 – 18:00
• Sunday: 08:00 – 17:00
