Following a request by the community to assist healthcare workers who are working tirelessly in the fight against COVID-19, Checkers Western Cape Division responded by donating some much needed refreshments.
The refreshment packs were distributed on Monday, 18 January to 300 health workers at Cape Gate Mediclinic and Louis Leipodt hospital to show the retailer’s appreciation to the medical and support personnel who are at the frontline during this pandemic.
“Since the start of this pandemic, we have donated 7000 care packages containing essential products to COVID-19 patients in different Health facilities across the country.
