Shoprite created 149 new jobs with the opening of its new store in Giyani, Limpopo, last week when it opened on Thursday, 28 March.
The store’s total staff complement is 171, which includes 140 youth (between the ages of 18 and 35) and 69 women.
Shoprite Masingita Mall offers customers a convenient shopping experience with 20 pay points and access to a number of in-store fresh food departments including a Meat Market, Hot & Cold Foods Deli, Bakery and Fresh Fruit & Vegetables.
Customers can also save time by making use of the range of extensive services available at the Money Market counter including payment of municipal or service accounts, buying national lottery, bus, airline or Computicket event tickets, and much more.
The store will be managed by experienced Branch Manager, Robert Beswick, who has been with Shoprite since 2004.
The store’s trading hours are 07:00 - 19:00 from Mondays to Fridays, 07:00 - 18:00 on Saturdays, and 07:00 - 17:00 on Sundays.
