SA's biggest retailer partners with SA's biggest on-demand food delivery platform

 

Checkers LiquorShop is the first South African supermarket to enter into an exclusive, national partnership with Mr D Food.

By the end of the year - just in time for the festive season - customers will be able to purchase ice cold drinks at in-store prices from 60 Checkers LiquorShops across the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal via the Mr D Food app. Additional stores will be activated in 2019.

Over 1 million South Africans have already downloaded the Mr D Food app.

A selection of top liquor brands (including beer, wine and spirits) as well as non-alcoholic beverages (such as soft drinks, juice and water) will be available to order from Checkers LiquorShop via the Mr D Food app during store trading hours.

• Pick your delivery location
• Navigate to a Checkers LiquorShop and place your order
• Pay with cash on delivery or securely by card or EFT in the app
