Checkers has ramped up the fun with the second instalment of its wildly popular collection of Little Shop mini products thanks to a specially developed augmented reality app which enables users to unlock funny filters for each of the 30 participating brands.
The Little Shop app is a fun and easy-to-use tool that enables users to customise their mobile photos with the use of filters (a filter is a piece of software that changes the appearance of an image in one way or another).
The app is free-to-download and users simply have to scan their minis to access the awesome filters, snap away and share with friends and family. To get going, download the app directly from the App Store or Google Play.
More prizes
In addition, there are some amazing prizes up for grabs with Little Shop 2, including 10 000 double sets of movie tickets or even a trip to Disneyland, Paris!
Plus twenty lucky customers who find a mini golden trolley will each win a trolley dash worth R5 000. To date golden trolleys have been found at Checkers Hyper Mall of Africa in Midrand, Checkers Hyper Tokai in Cape Town and Checkers Woodlands in Bloemfontein, which means there are still 17 golden trolleys just waiting to be discovered…
National Swop Day
To help customers complete their Little Shop 2 collections, Checkers has again planned a National Swop Day at all Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores on Saturday, 24 July. It’s the perfect opportunity for customers to trade and barter for those mini products they still need to complete their collections!
