Shoprite has been spreading the love this February and today provided some much-needed assistance for the 45 children living at the Tshimollo Home for the Disabled in Tembisa.

When Dion Raboroko, a driver for one of Shoprite’s Mobile Soup Kitchens, alerted the retailer to the dire situation at the Tshimollo Home for the Disabled, the supermarket chain responded quickly.

Shoprite donated new mattresses and base sets, bed linen, spoons and bowls for the Tshimollo Home. In addition, the retailer arranged for the installation of a new toilet, tiling of the floors, painting of the interior and much-needed general maintenance whilst Shoprite supplier FutureLife donated 135kg Unity instant porridge.
