Shoprite celebrated the country’s senior citizens and their contribution to the Pretty Things for Little Things campaign during the month of October.

The Pretty Things for Little Things campaign annually invites all Shoprite customers, especially senior citizens, to put their creative talents to work and make much needed items for children in disadvantaged communities in four categories namely soft toys, blankets, clothing and other – which includes articles made from materials such as wood, tin or wire.

Congratulations to the following national winners in each category:

Soft Toys 
1st: Johanna Meyer (Somerset West, Western Cape)
2nd: Lydia van Rooyen (Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal)
3rd: Ansie Venter (Bethlehem, Free State)

Blankets
1st: Sandra Usher (Durban, KwaZulu-Natal)

3rd: Vanessa Farr (Durbanville, Western Cape)

Clothing
