Checkers created more than 70 new jobs in the local community with the opening of its Springs Mall store on Thursday, 16 March 2017.
Checkers Springs Mall promises to elevate the customer experience through its world class in-store services which include a sit down café as well as a sushi bar.
To celebrate the store’s grand opening, customers were treated to fantastic specials, plenty of in-store competitions and delicious tasters from the Cheese World range of over 400 speciality cheeses.
Checkers Springs Mall will cater for all customers’ daily, weekly and monthly food and household requirements. Over and above a wide range of food and general merchandise such as outdoor, homeware and appliances, there are also a number of service departments including a hot and cold foods deli as well as a bakery.
Customers can also save time by making use of the extensive services available at the in-store Money Market counter. These include making municipal or service account payments; buying national lottery, bus, airline and Computicket event tickets; and more.
Trading hours are 08:00 – 19:00 from Mondays to Saturdays and 08:00 – 18:00 on Sundays.
