Checkers opened doors at the Savannah Mall in Polokwane on Thursday, 6 April. The supermarket promises to elevate the customer experience with world-class in-store services including a sushi bar and a coffee bar.
To celebrate Checkers Savannah Mall’s grand opening, customers were treated to delicious tasters, plenty of in-store competitions of course fantastic special offers

A range of services are available at the in-store Money Market counter including payment of municipal or service account payments, buying national lottery, bus, airline tickets or Computicket event tickets, and much more.
Checkers Savannah Mall has a total of 16 pay points, including 5 express tills.In-service departments include a Fish Shop, Hot & Cold Foods Deli, Bakery, Fresh Fruit & Vegetables, Coffee Bar and a Sushi Bar.
On opening day, a R5 000 donation (in the form of Checkers shopping vouchers) was handed over to Ngwana House as part of the store’s community upliftment promise.
The store's trading hours are 09h00 – 19h00 from Mondays to Fridays, 08h00 to 18h00 on Saturdays and 09h00 – 17h00 on Sundays.
