Brand Overview
The first Shoprite LiquorShop opened in 2005 and the chain has since added hundreds of stores in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho and Namibia, with the opening of LiquorShop Concordia in May 2023 marking its 700th LiquorShop store. These stores are positioned adjacent or near Group Supermarkets and offer a range of local and international products at low supermarket prices.
As the Group keeps coming up with innovative ideas to improve its customers’ shopping experience, a growing number of LiquorShop stores have started offering click and collect services as well as deliveries by Mr D Food.
Shoprite LiquorShop
These stores offer a range of local favourites, from ice-cold beers to branded whiskies as part of its House of Fine Whisky selection, and premium spirits.
